More than 1,200 exhibitors and roughly 22,500 visitors from all over the world came to Cologne in late September for Kind + Jugend 2018. This is one of the world’s largest tradeshows for premium products for babies and infants. Rompa’s commercial director Martijn Jansen attended the event and spotted a number of notable trends in this market.
Rompa Group has a partnership with Britax Römer, one of the leading manufacturers of strollers and bicycle and car seats for children. That was a major reason to attend this tradeshow, Martijn explains. “We want to put ourselves in our clients’ position and think along with them about the latest innovations. That is why we keep a close eye on interesting trends in their sector, for example by attending events such as this one.”
